The word thrival is made up of two words; thrive and survival.  My definition is to thrive even in a survival mode.  It is about survival but at the same time pursuing life to actually thrive.  I am using a similar word that my son is using for his CPA blog (see blogroll).  He is using his word thriveal in a slightly different way even though it is similar in definition. He refers to his word in a business sense.  My word has a different meaning since I am approaching retirement.  My created word refers to my desire to accomplish a successful and meaningful retirement life.  I plan to share my thoughts and experiences each week on my blog as I approach retirement.
